Cleveland Clinic Mercy Hospital in Stark County, OH is hiring a Patient Care Nurse Assistant to support a fast-paced Medical/Surgical unit. You will provide bedside care under RN supervision, assist with rounds, and help maintain a safe, welcoming environment for patients.

This role offers training, growth opportunities, and a schedule of 7:00am–7:30pm with rotating weekends and holidays. Candidates should have a High School diploma or GED and BLS certification; military medical experience is

Competenze

High School Diploma or GED required or equivalent.
Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross; if not held, must obtain during new hire period.
Nursing students: BLS Certification upon hire through the AHA or American Red Cross.
Military experience as HM, 68W, or 4N0X1 will be considered.
State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) preferred.

Mansioni

Provide or assist with patient care under RN supervision, including vital signs, activities of daily living, transfers, and monitoring devices.
Report abnormal findings or changes in patient condition to an RN.
Assist with keeping patient rooms clean and orderly.
Participate in hourly rounding and maintain a welcoming, healing environment.
Work 7:00am–7:30pm with rotating weekends and holidays.
