Mercy Hospital in Canton, part of the Cleveland Clinic Health System, invites you to join as a Patient Care Nurse Assistant (PCNA). You will coordinate with nurses to deliver hands-on patient care, monitor vitals, support daily living activities and help patients regain independence in a welcoming unit.

Shifts run 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM with weekend and holiday rotation. A High School Diploma or GED and BLS certification are required; nursing students must have BLS upon hire.

Qualificações

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (If you do not hold this certification, you must obtain it during your new hire period)
• Nursing students: BLS certification required upon hire
• Military experience as Hospital Corpsman (HM), Combat Medic (68W) or Medical Service Technician (4N0X1) will be considered

Responsabilidades

• Provide or assist with patient care under the supervision of an RN.
• Report abnormal findings or changes in physical, mental and emotional conditions to an RN.
• Assist with keeping patients’ rooms clean and orderly

Conhecimentos

BLS certification

Military medical experience

STNA preferred
