Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with four or more years in behavioral health.
• Associates Degree in a human service field with two or more years in behavioral health.
• Two or more years’ experience with the population of the facility preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise milieu staff during shifts.
• Monitor shift change activities and adjust staffing.
• Facilitate patient care and programming.
• Review medical records for timely documentation.
• Oversee admissions, discharges and transfers.
• Review and monitor required paperwork for timeliness.
• Facilitate person-centered planning based on individual needs.
• Train and mentor direct care staff during the shift.
• Audit records to ensure regulatory compliance and report issues to supervisor.
• Respond to concerns from individuals, families and guardians.
• Report pertinent information to the Milieu Manager.
• Perform direct care duties as required.
• Prioritize patient safety with a positive, empathetic, professional approach.
