Job summary

The Vascular Experts in Darien, MD seeks a dedicated Patient Coordinator / Medical Assistant to support clinical and administrative front desk operations. You will greet patients, manage scheduling, and assist providers with clinical duties to ensure efficient day-to-day office flow.

The ideal candidate has at least a high school diploma and 1 year of medical office or customer service experience, with strong organizational and communication skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with 1 year medical office and customer service experience.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft, data entry and other business office systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Opens the office and ensures the front desk is ready each day.
• Greet patients and collect required information; communicate delays when necessary.
• Check in patients and collect copays at visits per insurance plan.
• Receive payments and reconcile daily deposits.
• Maintain a neat, organized front office and waiting area.
• Schedule patients efficiently and manage patient flow.
