Qualifications

• BSN or actively completing BSN degree within 3 years of offer acceptance.
• Minimum 5 years nursing experience; 3 years leadership.
• Current Iowa RN license. Active IL license if working in IL.
• BLS.
• ACLS.
• Mandatory Reporter.
• High language, high math, high reasoning ability.
• Personal computer.
• Ability to work with diverse groups of people.
• Ability to work under pressure. Ability to prioritize and delegate.
• Strong leadership and teambuilding skills.

Responsibilities

• Clinical practice within the department.
• Ensure safe, effective delivery of clinical services.
• Lead team, rounds with physicians, staff and patients.
• Manage budget and CQI activities.
• Develop and monitor Quality Improvement Plan.
