Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent experience.
• Minimum three years of related experience in customer service, patient support, and/or office management.
• Preferred Bachelor's degree.
• Healthcare/ medical back office experience.

Responsibilities

• Performing a variety of patient care support tasks.
• Acting as a liaison between patients, families and the RN and provider teams.
• Answering high volume phone lines including prioritizing, screening, and routing calls.
• Gathering and documenting appropriate information.
• Supporting prior authorizations for medication and supplies.
• Managing customer flow by answering questions, resolving conflicts, and notifying appropriate staff of issues.
• Providing research and follow-up.
