Job summary

McLaren Health Care, located in Caro, Michigan, is seeking a Medical Assistant to provide excellent patient care through a variety of medical procedures and tests. Responsibilities include gathering patient history, preparing equipment and documenting interventions.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma, experience as a Medical Assistant, and should obtain BLS certification if working in rural clinics. This is a Per Diem position with variable work times.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate of approved program for Medical Assistant or 1 year of Medical Assistant experience.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 6 months of hire for Rural Health Designation clinics.

Responsibilities

• Provides excellent patient care through various medical procedures.
• Gathers patient history and prepares for visits.
• Documents all patient interventions and responses in charts.
