Job summary

Qualifications

• Knowledge of sanitation procedures within 3 months.

Responsibilities

• Produce and serve meals in retail or patient service area.
• Communicate and address food and nutrition issues in the assigned area.
• Interact with unit staff regarding unit food service needs.
• Collect soiled trays/dishes and transport to the kitchen for cleaning.
• Ensure quality service reflected in patient, retail, sanitation and food production surveys.
• Meet quality assurance and infection prevention standards.
• Engage in mandated in-service educational sessions and apply knowledge to the job.
