Job summary

Memorial Healthcare System is seeking an ancillary patient care teammate to assist with basic clinical tasks under an RN. You will monitor patients, perform EKG testing and phlebotomy, and help with daily living activities while maintaining a clean, stocked environment.

Qualifications

• Three months of patient care experience or certification from a formal training program.
• EKG and phlebotomy competencies required within six months of hire date.
• No degree required; relevant BLS certifications are required.

Responsibilities

• Monitors patient status and reports abnormal findings to nursing staff.
• Performs basic patient care activities delegated by an RN, including vital signs, EKG testing and phlebotomy.
• Assists with keeping patient rooms clean and stocked, and helps with activities of daily living and patient transport.
