The Care Coordinator manages inquiries for proton therapy from a variety of sources including referring providers, prospective patients, caretakers, and others. The Care Coordinator obtains pertinent information and medical records to assist in the appropriate scheduling of patient consultations. The Care Coordinator works closely with the Radiotherapy Team to coordinate and schedule patients for internal and external services, optimizing the progression of care by closely monitoring and following up on diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. The Care Coordinator enhances the experience of prospective and established patients and their caregivers through timely response and development of a compassionate and professional rapport.
