Patient Care Coordinator | Greenwood Village, CO
Reporting to Supervisor, Patient Services
Employment Type: PRN (as needed). This role is 100% on-site.
Radiology Imaging Associates (RIA) is comprised of over 100 radiologists. All with exceptional skill and expertise, most are fellowship-trained in their field of specialty for additional certification. We are dedicated to accurate and efficient patient diagnoses no matter their condition. Our interventional radiologists perform some of the most leading-edge treatments available today. We partner with primary care physicians and hospitals across Colorado and Hawaii to provide a resource for both patients and physicians.
Primary Responsibilities:
Warmly greet and register patients, helping each visit begin smoothly and professionally
Schedule and coordinate procedures and appointments with accuracy and attention to detail
Verify insurance information and collect copays as appropriate
Respond to patient and referring office questions, resolving concerns directly or triaging them to the appropriate team member
Escort patients to exam rooms as needed
Load radiology images into Intelleviewer
Support patients with financial questions by connecting them with appropriate resources within RIA/ISJ/HCA
Communicate with referring physician offices to obtain orders and share necessary information
Assist the billing office by collecting patient information, matching insurance details and reports, and communicating any issues or delays
Discuss patient insurance and expected service costs in a clear, professional manner
Compose and/or transcribe letters, memos, and reports within prescribed time frames
Pull procedure and office visit reports as needed
Perform additional clerical duties as assigned
Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED required
1–2 years of medical office experience preferred
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Knowledge of medical terminology preferred
Quick learner with the ability to understand Interventional Radiology procedures
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel
Ability to read, write, and speak English

In accordance with Colorado law, the range provided is Radiology Imaging Associate’s reasonable estimate of the base compensation for this role, and is based on non-discriminatory factors such as experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities.
