Job summary

Carolina Physical Therapy & Sports Medicine is seeking a Patient Care Coordinator for the afternoon shift (roughly 1pm–5:30/6pm). You will greet patients, coordinate care from evaluation to discharge, verify information, and assist with charts and payments while supporting clinicians in the gym.

The role emphasizes excellent customer service and teamwork in a outpatient setting. Ideal candidates have a High school diploma, strong communication skills, and comfort with Word/Excel.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent in-person and phone customer service.
• Proficient in Word or Excel.
• Great time management and organizational skills.
• Team player attitude and energetic with a focus on excellent customer service.
• Previous experience working in a medical receptionist role is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Greeting patients and providing outstanding customer service.

• Maintaining patient charts and electronic medical records.
• Collecting, posting, and depositing patient payments.

This is apart-time position with about 25-30 hours needed. Hours: 1pm - 5:30/6p

In this role, the person would assist with FO duties like answering phones, scanning documents, scheduling patient, assisting patients with paperwork, as well as assisting the therapist with patient care in the gym. The ideal candidate would work in the afternoons.
