This entry-level position includes structured training; previous dental office experience is preferred but not required, with benefits such as health coverage, 401(k), and paid time off. Compensation starts at $22.00 per hour based on experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (required).
• Customer service/front desk/administrative experience preferred.
• Dental office experience highly preferred.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; HIPAA awareness.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones promptly and professionally, directing inquiries appropriately.
• Schedule appointments for doctors, dental therapists, and hygienists to ensure efficient provider schedules.
• Verify and update patient billing and insurance information accurately.
• Check in patients with privacy, efficiency, and a welcoming environment.
• Update patient forms and scan documents into charts.
• Coordinate interpreter services as needed to support patient care.
• Process referrals, record transfers, prescription requests, head start forms, and post-operative calls.
• Process patient payments and ensure accurate posting to provider accounts.
• Maintain a clean, organized front desk and lobby.
