Job summary

US Fertility in Waldorf, Maryland, is seeking a Patient Care Coordinator to join Shady Grove Fertility as part of our national network. You will support fertility patients, coordinate care, and help education.

The role offers Monday to Friday 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM, pay range $22-$25 per hour, commensurate with experience. This position provides growth within a nationally respected organization and close patient-team connection.

Qualifications

• Excellent oral and written communication, interpersonal and customer service skills.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Ability to work autonomously and in a team environment.
• Strong attention to detail, demonstrated ability to follow-through, and high degree of comfort with computer applications, accuracy and speed with data entry is required
• Minimum of one year of prior experience in healthcare and familiarity with medical terminology

Responsibilities

• Assist with the clinical care of fertility patients.
• Provide patient/couple counseling, procedure teaching, communicates physician orders and instructions.
• Provide pre and post op education.
• Establish a compassionate environment by providing emotional and psychological support to patients and patients' families.
• Work independently to assure the program goals are achieved.
• Support and promote excellence in customer service
