Qualifications

  • Strong attention to detail and patient confidentiality.
  • Customer service-oriented with focus on patient care and satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and assist patients in person, over the phone, and via email with professionalism and empathy.
  • Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments using dental practice management software.
  • Coordinate patient flow to ensure timely and efficient service delivery.
  • Review and explain treatment plans, procedures, and financial options to patients.
  • Verify insurance coverage, process claims, and handle billing or payment inquiries.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in HIPAA-compliant manner.
  • Communicate with dental providers and clinical staff to ensure accurate information exchange.
  • Follow up with patients regarding treatment plans, recalls, and outstanding balances.
  • Manage patient correspondence, including reminders, follow-ups, and satisfaction surveys.
  • Assist with front office administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and inventory management.
