Job summary

Midwest Dental in Reedsburg, WI is seeking a Patient Care Coordinator to create a welcoming front office experience and support scheduling, patient communication, insurance coordination, and daily operations.

Join a fast-paced, patient-focused team and help patients feel informed and supported throughout their visit. Monday–Thursday 7:00–5:30, plus two Fridays per month 8–12; compensation $21–$23/hour with benefits.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in a dental, healthcare, or customer service environment.
• Knowledge of dental terminology and dental insurance processes preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-first mindset.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail and multitasking abilities.

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients with warmth, professionalism, and a positive first impression.
• Manage patient check-in and check-out processes efficiently and accurately.
• Schedule appointments and coordinate daily patient flow to support an exceptional office experience.
• Verify insurance benefits and assist patients with questions regarding coverage and payment options.
• Answer phones, respond to patient inquiries, and provide outstanding customer service.
• Support treatment acceptance by helping patients understand next steps and financial arrangements.
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality at all times.
• Partner closely with doctors, hygienists, and team members to deliver seamless patient care.

Overview

At Midwest Dental supported by Smile Brands, we believe exceptional patient care starts the moment a patient walks through the door. Our Reedsburg office is seeking a friendly, organized, and service-focused Patient Care Coordinator who is passionate about creating positive experiences and helping patients feel comfortable, informed, and supported throughout their visit.

As a key member of our front office team, you’ll help create a welcoming environment while supporting scheduling, patient communication, insurance coordination, and daily office operations. Schedule (days/hours)

Monday thru Thursday 7:00 to 5:30 & 2 Fridays a month 8-12
