Now Hiring: Front Desk Patient Care Coordinator

Are you dependable, personable, and passionate about helping others? Our thriving audiology practice is looking for a mature, reliable, and charismatic Patient Care Coordinator (PCC) to join our team.

As the front-line face and voice of Alabama Hearing Associates, the PCC plays a critical role in communicating with and supporting both our patients and providers. This position requires strong organizational skills, compassion, and the ability to multitask in a dynamic environment.

What We’re Looking For

Our ideal candidate is:

  • An excellent communicator with a warm and professional demeanor.
  • Detail-oriented and self-motivated with strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Comfortable using computers and managing administrative software.
  • Kind, empathetic, and patient—especially when working with hearing-impaired individuals.
  • Calm under pressure and able to handle frequent interruptions with grace.
  • Clear and professional when speaking, especially on the telephone.
  • Passionate about being part of a supportive, growth-oriented workplace culture.
  • Punctual, professional, and reliable.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Answering phones and scheduling appointments
  • Greeting and checking in/out patients
  • Collecting payments and insurance information
  • Confirming appointments and maintaining patient records
  • Supporting Audiologists with administrative tasks
  • Organizing front office operations and maintaining a clean, welcoming environment
  • Participating in training programs and staff meetings
  • Light housekeeping (e.g., wiping surfaces, taking out trash, restocking supplies)

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in patient or customer service (medical office preferred)
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Reliable transportation
  • Ability to pass a background check
  • Three (3) professional references required
