Job summary

Hmixray in Cedar Knolls, NJ is seeking a Patient Service Representative to deliver world-class patient service in a fast-paced radiology environment. You will greet patients, verify information, schedule appointments, and guide them through preparatory steps.

This role requires strong communication, multitasking, and a commitment to patient privacy. Bilingual Spanish is preferred. We offer medical/dental/vision, 401(k) match, and free imaging services for you and family.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Proficient with computer applications and office software.
• Strong multitasking and communication skills.
• Experience in customer service in medical/radiology settings preferred.
• Spanish language skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and register patients in a friendly, service-oriented manner.
• Obtain or verify insurance and patient information, collect signatures.
• Collect and log co-pays and fees.
• Answer and transfer incoming calls.
• Schedule, reschedule, or cancel appointments and notify staff.
• Provide patient orientation for safety protocols and directions to facilities.
• Coordinate with back-office staff for timely care of patients.
• Safeguard patient information and property.
