Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required; Associate's Degree in Medical Assisting preferred.
• BLS Certification required.
• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) preferred.
• 1–2 years MA experience or in medical field recommended.
• Knowledge of privacy laws and patient confidentiality essential.

Responsibilities

• Interview patients to obtain medical information and measure vital signs.
• Escort patients to examination rooms and prepare equipment for providers.
• Record medical history and test results in medical records.
• Perform general office duties and liaise with other departments to support patient care.
• Collect blood or specimens and prepare them for testing.
• Maintain clean, stocked treatment rooms and sterilize instruments.
