Responsibilities
  1. Provide direct and indirect patient care under the guidance of the Registered Nurse.
  2. Implement components of the care plan based on physical, psychosocial, and spiritual needs.
  3. Ensure patient comfort, safety, and emergency measures.
  4. Assist with activities of daily living, including personal care, nutrition, and elimination needs.
  5. Measure vital signs, perform ECGs, and capillary blood glucose testing.
  6. Observe and report on equipment functioning, treatment results, dressings, and patient condition changes.
  7. Incorporate the Hospital's Customer Service Program into all patient care activities.
  8. Adhere to departmental policies and procedures.
  9. If not certified at hire, complete the onsite nursing certification program within 90 days.
Qualifications
  1. High School Diploma or Equivalent (Required).
  2. Preferred: Nursing Assistant or Medical Assistant Program or completion of at least one clinical rotation in an accredited Nursing program.
  3. Experience: 1 Year in a patient care role (Preferred).
  4. Certifications: BLS (Required); CMA and CNA (Preferred).
