Memorial Healthcare System in Hollywood, FL is seeking a Patient Care Associate to provide basic patient care under RN supervision. The role involves monitoring patients, performing EKGs and phlebotomy, and assisting with daily living activities in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Qualifications include a minimal patient care experience or completion of a formal training program and required BLS certifications.

Competenze

• Basic patient care under RN supervision.
• EKG and phlebotomy competencies required within six months of hire.
• Three months of patient care experience or completion of a formal training program.

Mansioni

• Assist with transporting patients as needed.
• Monitor patient status and report abnormal findings to nursing staff.
• Perform basic patient care tasks including monitoring vital signs, EKG, phlebotomy, glucose checks and I&O recording.
• Keep patient rooms and areas stocked, clean and orderly.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living such as bathing, grooming and eating.
