Memorial Healthcare System is seeking a patient care assistant to support nursing staff in a busy hospital setting in Hollywood, FL. Under an RN, you will perform basic patient care activities and assist with daily living tasks.

Requirements include a current BLS certification and completion of a credentialing program; EKG and phlebotomy competencies are expected within six months of hire. Shift: Days, on-site position.

Formación

• No degree required for the role, but relevant healthcare credentials are required.
• BLS American Heart Association certification is required.
• Grace period for essential credential is noted by Grace.
• Red Cross BLS certification is also recognized.

Responsabilidades

• Keeps patient rooms and areas stocked, clean, and orderly.
• Transports patients as needed.
• Performs basic patient care duties under RN supervision (vital signs, EKG, phlebotomy, glucose checks).
• Assists with activities of daily living (bathing, grooming, eating).
• Monitors patient status and reports changes to nursing staff.
