Mercy is hiring a Patient Care Associate / Patient Care Technician to support individualized patient care under RN or LPN supervision. Roles include vital signs, daily care tasks, and potential advancement through a career ladder.

Full- and part-time positions are available with an accredited PCA training program and a 175-hour training track if no prior experience. Benefits and a sign-on bonus up to $1,500 are offered.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma, GED, CNA/CPTC, or enrolled in a healthcare program.

Responsibilities

• Obtain vital signs and document into EMR.
• Assist with meals, bathing, toileting, ambulation, mobility, and transport.
• Clerical support duties as needed.
• PCA duties plus potential PCT tasks: phlebotomy, enteral feeding, wound care, IV/Foley removal, trach care/suctioning.
