Mercy is hiring a Patient Care Associate/Patient Care Technician to support patient wellness under RN/LPN direction. The role provides hands-on patient assistance, mobility aid, and daily care activities in a team setting.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED, CNA/CPTC or in a healthcare program.
• Experience: None required; on-the-job training provided.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds and stand/walk for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Obtain vital signs and document in the EMR.
• Assist with meals, bathing, toileting, mobility, and transport.
• Clerical support as needed; participate in care team tasks.
• Phlebotomy, enteral feeding, wound care, IV/ Foley removal, suctioning.
