Job summary

Mercy Hospital South in St. Louis, MO is seeking a Patient Care Associate (PCA) / Patient Care Technician (PCT). The unit is Inpatient Med/Surg with 24 hours/ week part-time or 36 hours/ week full-time schedules. Shifts include day and night options. A sign-on bonus is offered for eligible positions.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent, CNA/CPTC, or enrollment in a health program; no prior experience is required. BLS certification is required within one month of hire.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma, GED, CNA/CPTC,或 enrollment in healthcare program.
• Experience: No prior experience required.
• Physical: ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand/walk long shifts, bend/reach/squat.

Responsibilities

• Record vital signs and enter data into EMR.
• Assist patients with daily needs (meals, bathing, mobility).
• Provide clerical support as needed.
• For PCT: phlebotomy, enteral feedings, wound care, IV removal, trach care.
