Previous job experience preferred
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Basic EMT, Military Medic experience, or nursing student with completion of fundamentals in an RN program desired
Strong communication, observational, and technical care skills
Comfortable performing clerical duties and supporting patient safety and hygiene
Knowledge of HIPAA and infection control procedures

Provide essential patient care and support under the direct supervision of a registered nurse, ensuring safety, comfort, and dignity for all patients.
Assist with patient hygiene, ambulation, feeding, and other daily care activities
Perform technical care tasks per patient plan of care, including vital signs, I&O documentation, and comfort measures
Monitor and report changes in patient condition to the assigned nurse
Set up and remove non-invasive monitoring equipment and assist with specimen collection and transport
Support emergency response efforts according to hospital policy
Assist with admissions, discharges, and patient transfers
Retrieve medications from pharmacy as per policy
Complete documentation accurately in patient records
Perform clerical duties including answering phones, assisting visitors, processing orders, and managing supply stock
Practice safety and infection control protocols, including waste disposal, aseptic technique, and cleaning of patient care areas
Assist with patient transport and equipment preparation
Perform other duties as assigned
