Penn State Health Hampden Medical Center is seeking a Patient Care Associate (PRN) for intermediate care. Under the direction of a Registered Nurse, you will assist with basic patient care activities and non-professional services to support patient comfort.

Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, and BLS certification prior to orientation completion. The role is PRN, with shift differential eligibility per policy.

Under direction of a Registered Nurse, contributes to the basic patient care activities and related non-professional services necessary in caring for the personal needs and comfort of the patient. Actual job tasks may vary depending on the unit or department assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION(S):

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• BLS required prior to orientation completion. Must be obtained through Penn State Health or American Heart Association (AHA).
