Job summary

Qualifications

• Completion of Medical Assistant or Nursing Assistant training.
• Medical Assistant Certification or CNA license including Phlebotomy is required.
• Proficiency with health information systems and clinical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Assist health care team with simple procedures and prepare supplies and equipment.
• Perform patient care tasks including vital signs, mobility, hygiene, and comfort.
• Utilize equipment and phlebotomy tools as needed for patient care.
• Prepare and clean exam rooms and treatment areas between uses.
• Schedule referrals/consults and support patient flow to reduce wait times.
• Assist with office duties and maintain unit stock and supplies.
