Job summary

Mass General Brigham's Newton-Wellesley Hospital is seeking a Patient Care Assistant II to support patient care and unit operations on site at 2014 Washington Street. You will perform vital signs, assist with activities of daily living, and may handle receptionist duties, equipment coordination, and patient transport.

The role emphasizes teamwork and strong communication. A minimum of six months nursing assistant experience or enrollment in a program, basic phlebotomy, and a high school diploma

Qualifications

• Six months of experience as a Nursing Assistant or as a Nursing student currently enrolled in a formal program who has successfully completed at least one clinical rotation.
• Phlebotomy experience preferred.
• High school graduate or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care including taking vital signs and assisting with activities of daily living.
• Perform non-clinical duties such as receptionist tasks, coordinating equipment, and patient transport.
• Collaborate with nursing and interdisciplinary staff to ensure safe patient care and smooth unit operations.
