Job summary

Mass General Brigham Incorporated is seeking a Patient Care Associate II for 36-hour day shifts onsite at Newton-Wellesley Hospital in Newton, MA. The role provides patient care under RN supervision, including vital signs and assistance with activities of daily living, and supports unit operations as reception and transport coordination.

The candidate should have strong interpersonal and communication skills, six months of nursing assistant experience or clinical rotation, and prefer phlebotomy

Qualifications

• Six months of experience as a Nursing Assistant or as a Nursing student with clinical rotation.
• Phlebotomy experience preferred.
• High school graduate or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Take vital signs and assist patients with activities of daily living.
• Act as receptionist, coordinate equipment, provide transportation and assist with department tasks.
• Collaborate with nursing and interdisciplinary staff to ensure safe patient care.
