A leading healthcare provider in Paramus seeks a dedicated individual to assist in patient care. This role involves performing essential tasks such as EKGs and phlebotomy while ensuring compliance with policies. Ideal candidates will possess strong communication skills and attention to detail, contributing to a collaborative healthcare environment.
To assist the professional staff by participating in direct and indirect patient care, including performing EKGs, phlebotomy, and materials management and maintenance as directed by the professional staff and in accordance with approved policies and procedures.
High school diploma or equivalent required. Must meet one of the following requirements: (1) Recent experience in a comparable role in a hospital setting or (2) a valid, current, and active certification from a credentialing organization approved by Va.
No previous experience required.
Qualifications may vary depending on the assigned area. Must be able to perform work accurately with attention to detail within specified timeframes, handle frequent interruptions, and adapt to changes in workload and schedule. Ability to work cooperatively with healthcare team members, staff, and co-workers. Ability to set priorities, solve problems, and respond quickly to emergency requests. Effective communication skills (oral and written) are essential to meet the diverse needs of neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.
