Job summary

Heritage-Valley-Health-System is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant at our Ambulatory Surgery Center located in Center Twp Medical Neighborhood. The role provides direct patient care tailored to each patient’s age, culture, and developmental needs.

Under supervision of the Director of Nursing or a Professional Nurse, you will follow nursing standards and center policies to ensure safe, high-quality care. Requires CNA, CPR, and timely completion of required clearances.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• CNA certification required.
• CPR certification required.
• Successful completion of applicable clearances per HR policy HR-106 within 90 days of starting employment.

• Provide direct patient care appropriate to age, culture, and developmental needs.

Location: HV Ambulatory Surgery Center, Center Twp Medical Neighborhood, 79 Wagner Rd, Suite 101
Work Hours: Monday-Friday, Daylight, 80 hours per pay period

Under the supervision of the Director of Nursing or Professional Nurse and according to established nursing standards and surgery center policies and procedures, provides direct patient care appropriate to age, culture, and developmental needs.

REQUIRED

High school graduate or equivalent; CNA certification; CPR; Successful completion of applicable clearances as outlined in Human Resources policy HR-106 within 90 days of commencing employment.

PREFERRED

1-2 years experience in nursing/patient care assistance
