Job summary

Qualifications

• American Heart Association BLS must be obtained within first 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Follows hospital policy regarding patient safety measures and notifies the licensed nurse when patient condition changes.
• Provides basic patient care duties under supervision (vital signs, toileting, feeding, bathing, activity) per hospital policy.
• Works with nursing staff to care for patients and respond quickly to requests to ensure safety and experience.
• Documents all patient care activities to support clinical decision making.
• Communicates pertinent patient information to team members to improve outcomes.
