University of Utah Health is seeking a patient-focused Nursing Assistant to provide direct patient care under the direction of a Registered Nurse. The role includes assisting with activities of daily living and preparing patients for examinations while maintaining safety and comfort across shifts.

The position requires flexibility to work rotating schedules, including nights and weekends, in a 24/7 health system.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with patients and families.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced hospital environment and collaborate with team members.
• Willingness to rotate shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Responsabilités

• Assist patients with feeding, mobility, grooming, toileting, and daily activities.
• Provide safe, clean, and organized patient care environments and support staff as directed by RN.
• Document data related to patient care and communicate with hospital staff as needed.
• May assist with admitting, discharging, and coordinating patient flows per unit procedures.
