Job summary

Saint Joseph Hospital - Elgin in Elgin, IL is seeking a Patient Care Assistant for the Rehabilitation department. The role is Full Time on Nights, with compensation ranging from $18.00 to $26.68 per hour.

You will assist patients with daily living activities and provide basic nursing care under the supervision of the RN in charge. Qualifications include preferred Phlebotomy and EKG certifications, BLS within 30 days, knowledge of medical terminology, and at least six months of acute care

Qualifications

• Current Phlebotomy certification upon hire, preferred.
• Current EKG certification upon hire, preferred.
• Current BLS (AHA) within 30 days of hire and maintain current.
• Possesses knowledge of Medical Terminology.
• Minimum six months previous experience in an acute care hospital or physician’s office preferred.
