Job summary

Shriners Children’s is seeking a Patient Care Assistant for the Inpatient Unit in Sacramento, CA. You will assist with direct patient care under a Registered Nurse, support wound care, and help keep the unit stocked and organized.

The role requires a CNA or nursing assistant experience, a high school diploma or GED, and BLS. Pediatric experience is preferred. Compensation ranges per hour and offers stability in a leading pediatric center.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma / GED or equivalent required.
• Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) or one year of nursing assistant experience.
• BLS certification required.
• Pediatric experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the delivery of patient care under RN supervision.
• Provide direct patient care and perform routine nursing tasks.
• Maintain unit stocks and assist with wound and skin care as directed.
• Demonstrate caring and appropriate behavior toward patients and families.
