Job summary

UF Health Shands Homecare is seeking a Patient Care Assistant (PCA) to provide direct patient care and supportive services under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. The PCA helps deliver safe, effective, patient-centered care and maintains a clean, orderly environment to promote patient and family satisfaction.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or GED, BLS certification, and willingness to complete required CPI training within 90 days of hire for the Psychiatric unit.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• BLS Certification required.
• CPI training within 90 days of hire or transfer and annually for Psychiatric unit.
