UF Health in Jacksonville, FL is hiring a Patient Care Assistant (PCA) for full-time 36 hours per week, 7:00am–7:00pm. The PCA provides direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse and contributes to safe, patient-centered care in a clean, orderly environment.

You will work with the healthcare team, learn hospital IT systems, and use basic medical terminology and standard precautions. Candidates should have a High School Diploma or GED and BLS certification, with CPI training

Qualifications

• BLS certification is required.
• CPI training within 90 days of hire for psychiatric unit.
• Less than one year of experience.
• All age groups served and English reading/writing required.
