Job summary

Olympia Fields Hospital is seeking a Patient Care Assistant to support patients with activities of daily living and provide basic nursing care under RN supervision. The role emphasizes safety, compassionate care, and teamwork on the night shift.

Candidates should have CNA certification or state-approved credential and familiarity with medical terminology, plus preferred phlebotomy/EKG credentials and BLS certification. Prior acute care or physician’s office experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Current Phlebotomy certification upon hire, preferred.
• Current EKG certification upon hire, preferred.
• Current BLS (AHA) within 30 days of hire and maintain current.
• Possesses knowledge of Medical Terminology.
• Minimum six months previous experience in an acute care hospital or physician’s office preferred.
