Job summary

Olympia Fields Hospital is seeking a Patient Care Assistant to support patients with daily living activities and provide basic nursing care under the direction of the Registered Nurse in charge.

This full-time role requires CNA certification, BLS within 30 days, and familiarity with medical terminology; six months acute care experience preferred. The position offers a comprehensive benefits package including PTO, 401K, medical, dental, vision, and tuition reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Current Phlebotomy certification upon hire, preferred.
• Current EKG certification upon hire, preferred.
• Current BLS (AHA) within 30 days of hire and maintain current.
• Possesses knowledge of Medical Terminology.
• Minimum six months previous experience in an acute care hospital or physician’s office preferred.

A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $18.00 to $26.68. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
