Job summary

NHS Management, LLC is seeking a PCA – Patient Care Assistant to join our Florida team. You will assist with daily living activities, monitor residents’ comfort, and support nursing staff with compassionate care and reliable service.

Full-time benefits include Blue Cross/Blue Shield, dental insurance, a 401k match, PTO and paid holidays. CNA certification training is paid by the organization, with opportunities to grow into a licensed nurse assistant.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Good listening skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living: meals, feeding, ambulation, turning, positioning, hydration.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Provides for activities of daily living by assisting with serving meals, feeding guest as necessary; ambulating, turning, and positioning, providing fresh water and nourishment between meals.
• Maintains guest stability by checking vital signs; recording intake and output information.
• Provides guest comfort by utilizing resources and materials; transporting; answering call lights and requests; reporting observations of the guest to nursing supervisor.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Good listening skills
• Excellent customer service, energized individual with compassion for assisting others
• Willing to improve their standing by obtaining the Nurse Assistant certification (C.N.A.). Certification training is paid for by our organization.
• 18 years of age or older
• Ability to read, write and speak in English
• Bilingual is a plus
