Job summary

Visiting Angels in Jasper, Indiana is seeking a Patient Care Assistant - PCA to join our local homecare team. You will support seniors with daily living activities in their homes, including personal care, mobility, meal prep, and light housekeeping, with flexible schedules and competitive pay.

No prior experience required; weekend availability is a must (at least one weekend per month). We offer paid training, weekly pay, and comprehensive benefits including health, dental, and vision insurance,

Qualifications

• HHA or CNA experience is welcome, however no experience is necessary.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Active, Current Automobile Insurance.
• Dependable vehicle for to and from shifts and transporting clients.
• Must be able to pass a background check and be able to work at least one weekend a month.

Responsibilities

• Bathing and dressing clients.
• Toileting and transferring assistance.
• Light housekeeping (dusting, mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, laundry, dishes, bed linens).
• Basic companionship.
• Transportation for errands.
• Cooking meals.
• Medication reminders.

Patient Care Assistant - PCA Requirements:

• Anyone with a previous HHA or CNA experience is welcome, however no experience is necessary.
• TB Skin Test (Paid for by Visiting Angels)
• Valid Driver's License

• Must be able to pass a background check and able to work at least one weekend a month.
