At Avenues Home Care, our caregivers are our front line and most common representatives. As a Patient Care Assistant - PCA, you will care for the elderly, vulnerable, disabled, and those who cannot care for themselves. You must prioritize the client’s needs and perform the following duties with care. Our Chattanooga office provides caregivers for areas including Jasper, Cleveland, Signal Mountain, Dayton, Ooltewah, Hixson, Dalton GA, Lookout Mountain GA, Ringgold GA, and others.

Primary Responsibilities

1. Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) as per the care plan, including bathing, dressing, grooming, hygiene, toileting, transferring, eating, and continence care.
2. Assist with medication management, housekeeping, laundry, meal prep, feeding, shopping, transportation, and companionship.
3. Perform other household tasks as specified in the care plan.
4. Report daily activities to your supervisor via the management system and logs, and communicate as needed through calls, emails, app, or face-to-face.
