Job summary

Cleveland Clinic Hillcrest Hospital is seeking a Patient Care Nurse Assistant for night shifts (6:30 p.m. – 7:00 a.m.) with every other weekend and holiday requirements.

You will support adults and geriatric patients under RN supervision, perform basic patient care, monitor conditions, and help maintain clean, orderly rooms. Preferred candidates hold a State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) certification; minimum includes a high school diploma or GED and BLS.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualifications include High School Diploma or GED.
• BLS Certification required within new-hire period; nursing students may substitute clinical rotation.
• Demonstrate basic math and reading comprehension at junior high level.

Responsibilities

• Provide or assist with patient care under RN supervision, including vital signs and daily living activities.
• Report abnormal findings to RN and document changes.
• Keep patient rooms clean and orderly and assist with patient transfers.
