Job summary

Southwest General Health Center in Middleburg Heights, OH seeks a Patient Care Assistant for the 3E MEDICAL/SURGICAL/STEPDOWN unit. This full-time night role (6:30 p.m.–7:00 a.m.) supports care, transport, and a safe environment for diverse patient needs. High school diploma or GED and BLS are required or obtainable within 90 days.

PATIENT CARE ASSISTANT 3E/MEDICAL SURGICAL/STEPDOWN

3E is a 32 bed medical/surgical unit that has a variety of older adult patients, with a wide range of needs from ambulatory to complete care. Acuity of patients is generally moderate. They welcome new grads to their unit, and it is a great place to solidify nursing skills. No call or rotating shifts.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:

Required length of experience:

Six (6) months of prior healthcare experience preferred.
STNA preferred but not required.

Required licensure, certification, and/or registry:

BLS required, may obtain within 90 days of hire.
