Responsibilities:

The PCA assists nursing staff with delegated tasks of patient care under RN supervision. Responsibilities include executing skills within the scope of a certified nursing assistant as defined by the Arizona State Board of Nursing, understanding growth and development principles, and communicating patient data. Flexible hours include days, evenings, nights, holidays, and weekends.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required, valid for at least 90 days from start date
• Preferred: Completion of Block 1 in Nursing, Medical Assistant, Nursing Assistant, or 6 months healthcare experience in the last year

Additional Details:

• Exemption Status: Nonexempt
• Compensation: $20.00 - $25.09/hour
• Part-time schedule: 2 12-hour day shifts/week, rotating weekends and holidays
• Hours per pay period: 48
