Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED plus specialty-related technical training.
• Two years of related clinical experience.
• BLS certification from a hospital-based AHA program.
• Aggression Management certification within 90 days of hire.
• EKG and/or Phlebotomy competency within 6 months of hire.
• CNA or CMA or EMT-B certification.
• Other unit-specific certificates as required.

Responsibilities

• Support patient care activities under RN supervision.
• Work with the charge nurse and staff nurses to meet patient needs.
• Demonstrate basic patient care, medical terminology, communication, and computer skills.
• Model personal and professional effectiveness.
