Harris Health is seeking a Patient Care Assistant II to support nursing staff in inpatient units at our Houston-area hospitals. You will assist with basic patient care activities, communicate with the care team, and help ensure patient safety and comfort.

Qualified applicants will have a high school diploma or GED, two years of related clinical experience, and certifications such as CNA or CMA along with BLS. Flexibility for weekends and holidays is required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED plus technical skills/training appropriate to the specialty area.
• Two (2) years related clinical experience (experience in nursing program clinical rotations is applicable).
• Proficiencies: Personal Computer, MS Word, Typing.
• Communication Skills: Above Average Verbal Communication (Heavy Public Contact).

Responsabilités

• The PCA II supports patient care activities under the supervision of a registered nurse.
• Works closely with the charge nurse and staff nurses to meet patient care needs.
• Demonstrates personal and professional effectiveness in daily duties.
