Job summary

You will collaborate with the charge nurse and staff nurses to ensure patient needs are met and safety guidelines are followed. The role requires a High School diploma or GED, a CNA/CMA/EMT-B certification (Nursing students may be exempt), BLS, and basic computer and medical terminology skills.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required with specialty training.
• CNA/CMA/EMT-B certification required; nursing students exempt if first clinical/foundations course completed.
• BLS from an AHA-approved program is required.
• Aggression Management certification within 90 days of hire.
• EKG and/or Phlebotomy competency validation within 6 months of hire.
• Other certificates as required by unit/service/clinic.
• Two years of related clinical experience.
• Above average verbal communication.
