CommonSpirit Health's St. Luke's Health-Memorial Lufkin is seeking a Patient Care Assistant to help patients feel safer and more comfortable by assisting with basic daily life activities, such as hygiene, mobility, and feeding, under RN supervision.

You will monitor vitals, assist with rooms and weigh-ins, and help with daily tasks. The role requires a High School diploma or GED and BLS- CPR within 14 days; training is provided. This on-site position serves East Texas.

Formación

• High School Graduate or GED.
• Basic Life Support - CPR, within 14 days.

Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our Patient Care Assistant, you'll help our patients feel safer and more comfortable by assisting with their basic daily life activities.

Every day, you will directly support patients with tasks such as personal hygiene, mobility, and feeding, while also assisting nursing staff with vital sign monitoring and preparing patient rooms.

Your success in this role comes from your genuine desire to help patients feel better, whether that means giving them fresh bed linens or checking their vitals. You're diligent about your tasks, observant of patients' conditions improving or declining, and accept coaching well.
